Within the past few months, I've come to realize that I've really neglected this old thing! As per usual, I'll dump all my feelings here because I don't think I'd mind a little insight. And proving that I still exist would be nice too.

Haven't updated this old thing in a while. I'm slowly detaching myself from LJ which is a bit sad!


As of now I'm on Labor Day vacation, which actually just means that I get a few extra days off of school after just being there for a less than a week. Now in 12th grade, and I have to say, its been a while since I've felt this relaxed about school. Sure, my classes are a bit more difficult now, but I'm actually enjoying all of them for the first time.

For the majority of the summer I was busy doing art-related things up until August swung around and Marching Band (lol yay) officially sucked me back in. This basically means, for the fall, I'll be living band and breathing in this stuff alongside with other school-related things.

But anyway, yep. I love them sumbitches and seeing as how its my last year doing this sort of thing, I'm really enjoying it. Trololo we look all hard n shit when in actuality we're just a bunch of silly highschoolers.


FUCK, I'LL EVEN TRY TO POST SOME MORE SHIT ART THIS WEEKEND. I have had artblock for an entire month which is seriously stifling my creative process. I just recently got out of it though, so I'll try to see what I can do.

Okay, well I've always had it but now I have this other one I'm using now. And it ain't half bad! Kind of old, but hey, as long as I get to turn into a monstrous art machine I'm okay with that.

In other news: I will officially be 17 (an almost adult) in about two weeks! Haha what is this I don't even really give a fuck but as long as cake is involved, I'll be happy. Oh haha what a fat thing to sayaksdj I don't care.

I lost 5 pounds woo didn't even try!! And I got all tanned up recently; shitty part: I'm all peely now.
Starting marching band again next month. For the second or third time in my life, I have a fucking leadership position. Co-section leader with a good friend of mine. Hopefully I bump up an instrument, which is what I'm really gunning for. Bad part is that I can't even predict what everyone in the section will be playing. Who knows I just wanna play that gosh darn snare drum.


I will update with more arts later! Might or might not take requests depending on how much school shit I have to do!!

Let me dedicate this entry to my dearest 4 1/2 year old laptop, François. Poor thing's been through a ton. I've had the best fandom experiences with it, and met tons of great people too. If you can tell by my subtle word usage, MY LAPPY'S BROKEN ORZ. So anyway, this week I'll be job hunting since summer vacation is coming right up. I'll probably spend a majority of my three month break working and doing band things. Gonna try and buy a cheap new laptop and my own school supplies, etc. Maybe I'm handling the situation lightly considering I lost a ton of files and even my copy of CS5 (which I got from a torrent but whatever).

With that being said, I'll obviously be spending less time on the Internet. Expect the occasional update via my iPod. (I'll still be tumbling, that's jutlands for those who wanna follow!) In the meantime, I'll brush up on my traditional art skills since they've grown hella rusty, create a proper portfolio, and study like crazy for finals ;_; gosh I'm terrified. Adfgsghfds wish this bro luck.

Ever have one of those days where you feel almost invincible and/or like the luckiest SOB ever? Today was actually pretty nice! Herp I probably sound like an ecstatic baby always rambling about school and mah friends and family and what not. BUT ANYWAY.

So, I'm not one to win a lot of shit in life ever. If I ever win a raffle its just out of pure luck and woah momma it has to be a good day for that to ever happen. Surprisingly I won an officer position in band elections today. I was randomly nomiated for two positions without really asking for it, so that alone was kind of flattering. I won Historian elections and I have to say the ballot for that particular role was HUGE. so uh yay for that.

During 5th period we had a short short meeting about Senior portraits in the auditorium. There weren't a lot of Juniors there, since it was divided into three smaller meetings depending on your lunch period. Out of about 30 kids I won a $75 gift card off my Senior portrait package/session fee. So yayy this is some epic shit for a cheap bastard like me. Probs gonna have my senior portrait be hilarious.

I'll have to incorporate at least 100 chinchillas, a single tarantula dressed up as a gladiator, two standard sized drum sets, the entire cast of Doctor Who/The Office/Glee/30 Rock, my best friend, two professional fencers, a nebula backdrop with some Michael Bay explosions, a few exotic animals, and an ATV. No big deal right there.. it's pretty low budget so I'll see what I can do.

Ah another random update (feel free to ignore if you'd like, my life isn't really all that interesting) and happy Tuesday everyone!

School is wrapping up pretty fast.. my grades have been okay thus far, with the exception of math because lsafjWHY. I guess its my artsy, creative brain thingamabob. I can't think analytically and it kinda sucks lol
Uh for the most part, nothing all that great has been; happening life is pretty average as of now.
Anyway, today I got my varsity letter!! Which was neato

The band concert was last friday, and it rocked pretty goddamn hard. My dad went and said it was really impressive - so yay..! There was a bagpiper and a guest conductor stepped in because it was part of his bucket list. (Which was also kinda cool) The art show was the same night and I got BUTT LOADS of positive feed back. Hff part of me kinda hopes I get chosen for most artistic/musical in senior superlatives next year. My grade has the least amount of kids, and my school is fairly small. So word travels quickly. One can only hope! ;o;

Kind of a random thing to add but screw it..:
As of recently, my new goal is to create a decent portfolio by the end of the summer - with about 30 pieces. Mixed traditional and digital. It's really only for fun, but I'd like to see if I'm able to get anywhere with it. I may post some online, in order to get feedback. So look out!!

so I got back from my Washington DC trip on Sunday. This whole week has been icky. I have a cold right now and I feel like shite. I'll probably update with a picture post and what not. The trip itself was fun, the band kids are seriously fucking awesome to be around. They are just TOO funny; I know I'm sort of biased, but they're far from the nerdy stereotype. We did tons in a four-day span and it was well worth the money. And we even got second place in our division at the competition!
